About me

Born in London, England. Parents are from India, mother is Jewish. My father was an amazing percussionist and mucisian making and play his own congos, bongos and timbales.
My father had the great opportunity to play with Tito Puente and record a couple of albums with the Ido Martin orchestra in London in the 60's. He taught me a great deal about drumming and I started a drum circle in Los Angeles, Ca in the 70's at Griffiths Park. Every Sunday a bunch of my friends would have a jam session at the park, with all the cool people from the East L.A. Barrio. It grew and we drew many people from all over central, south america and Africa. An article was written in L.A.'s home magazine many years later.
Would love to get involved in a drum circle.
